Until then
Searching for Meaning
In this part of my creative time i turned my attention to the spaces between moments, to the quiet intervals in which meaning takes shape but remains unresolved. The works suggest states of transition — neither entirely abstract nor fully defined, suspended between clarity and ambiguity.
Compositions are often pared down: reduced horizons, diffuse light, minimal structures. Colours are muted or delicately layered, giving the impression of something in the process of becoming. Forms hover at the edge of recognition, inviting viewers to linger and interpret rather than immediately grasp.
Where Nebula reaches outward to the cosmos, and Dreamed Landscapes draws on memory, Searching for Meaning turns inward toward reflection. It evokes a sense of waiting, of searching for direction, of inhabiting the in-between spaces where thoughts settle and new understandings emerge.
Rather than offering answers, these paintings create a pause — a contemplative space where uncertainty is not a void but a fertile ground. They mirror the way meaning often unfolds in life: gradually, quietly, and never in a straight line.
